Wie beeinflusst das subjektive Erleben eines greifbaren, sichtbaren Tagwerks das Stresserleben von Berufstätigen?
This quantitative study explores the relationship between the subjective experience of tangible daily work results („Tagwerk-Erleben“) and perceived stress levels among working individuals. Data was collected via an online survey (n = 132) including diverse industries and demographic profiles. Core variables included the perceived visibility and meaningfulness of one’s daily output, degree of digitalization in work activities, weekly working hours, age, and gender. A multiple linear regression showed that the subjective feeling of having achieved something tangible at the end of the workday significantly predicted lower levels of perceived stress (p < .001). Digital work, by contrast, correlated negatively with this sense of accomplishment. The findings underline the psychological relevance of task visibility in modern work environments and suggest practical implications for leadership, job design, and stress prevention in increasingly digitalized contexts.
